Well Leon felt "odd" to me the moment they had that whole talk about the highlanders and how he would lick their boots and whatnot. At that point it felt like he would very likely flip if "ordered to". And if nothing else his lack of really anything when Rahl killed that guy was also a fairly big contribution as to why he felt "sus" to me.

I usually love growth arcs. Most great anime have them. But maybe this show is not worth it.

Growth Arcs are only worth the watch when the protagonist started off as weak or not as strong as most in his/her universe. Unlike here, it's been established that Inglis already achieved the title of Hero-King, and when he reincarnated, he retained all of his past experiences, knowledge and abilities, all he have to do now is find decent to best opponents to test his abilities.

Meh only for you, it was originally a 12 episode series, if you want 3 seasons go pay them they will make it for you
